We have now transitioned into the recovery period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following guidance from our governing bodies, we are now able to provide routine care. Unfortunately, this still excludes new contact lens fittings. If you are due your regular sight test or feel there has been any change in your vision during the lockdown period or since your last eye exam, please contact your preferred practice.
For the foreseeable future, all visits to practice will require a pre-booked appointment to allow us to adhere to social distancing guidelines. This includes not only your eye exam but also glasses and contact lens collections, adjustments and repairs. Please contact us to arrange an appointment if required.
Please be aware, if you do require a sight test, our optometrists will have to come within 2m of you. They will be wearing appropriate PPE, but please consider this before booking. If you have any further questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
This situation is very new and unusual for all of us. If you have any concerns please make them known to us. It may be that we have to do things in this way or we may not have thought about it. The safety and comfort of both patients and staff is our utmost priority.
Thank you for your patience during this challenging time.
