Our Newland Avenue branch was first opened in 1978 by Geoff & Ann Rouse at 25 Newland Avenue. We purchased 95 Newland Avenue in late 1980 and spent almost a year altering and refitting the premises before relocating in September 1981. Since then we have extended and altered the premises to make it more suitable as an optical practice. This branch contains our laboratory and administration office and is the heart of Rouse Opticians.

This branch is now managed by Jacqui Mitcheson, a qualified dispensing optician who first began working at Rouse Opticians as a receptionist 20 years ago before studying for her dispensing optician qualifications.

You can park your car on the street, either on Newland Avenue itself or down the various side streets. We advise you to arrive a little early to give yourself time to park.  

  

We are located approximately halfway down Newland Avenue, opposite the Cooplands' Bakery.
